“I am a visual being. Color is what stimulates me most, which is ironic since I suffer from deuteronomy, a form of color blindness. What was a handicap for most of my life has become the fuel of my creative inspiration. I no longer experience anxiety of having to replicate reality on a piece of paper; instead I create my own worlds by using stylized shapes, bold colors and whimsical passion.”
